of the car somebody banged
the left rearview mirror
with the driver we harenged
but there was no bicker
the mirror was improvised
until it can be replaced
the inconvenience minimized
until all faults are erased
Friday a new mirror we expect
to be assembled like the peer
in time it will all be correct
when I return the car, no fear
Thursday has gone - no mirror
today the mechanic I must enquire
if resolution is any nearer
or I am in a nightmare mire
Mirror I haven't ordered
says the guy with straight face
too late, so I didn't bother
this would be a losing race
By Monday it will be here
I am sure it will arrive
if by then I don't hear
a scheme I will connive
The mirror has arrived
the guy the car has taken
the car has survived
if I am not mistaken
It was not to be
the saga has no end
the new nirror is debris
is also broken, not mend
